# Find & replace text

Find a literal phrase in a text and replace every occurrence. Choose case-sensitive or case-insensitive matching and review the number replaced.

## How to use it

1. Type or paste the text you want to work with.
2. Choose a conversion, clean-up or output option.
3. Copy the result or download it when an export is available.

## Example

Replace an old project name in a draft without treating punctuation as a regular expression.

## Limits and checks

Matching is literal and does not interpret regex syntax. An empty search phrase is not allowed.

## Access and processing

Free to use without an account. Interactive processing requires JavaScript in a modern browser. Input is processed in the browser rather than sent to a processing server. Optional browser storage is not a synchronized account.
