# Image to Base64

Canonical page: https://nepocore.com/tools/image-to-base64/

Encode a selected image as a Base64 data URL without sending it to a server. Copy the output for a small HTML, CSS or JSON example.

## How to use it

1. Choose a clear, supported image from your device.
2. Adjust the image settings and run the tool.
3. Inspect the preview, then download or copy the result.

## Example

Embed a small PNG icon into a prototype without adding a separate image request.

## Limits and checks

Base64 increases data size by about one third. Separate image files are usually better for large production assets.

## Access and processing

Free to use without an account. Interactive processing requires JavaScript in a modern browser. Input is processed in the browser rather than sent to a processing server. Optional browser storage is not a synchronized account.
